Meals
Catering - Friday to Sunday
Ignite Conference is a catered conference (Friday to Sunday). To enable smooth catering processes, you will choose your menu type during registration. An indicative menu is provided below. All meals are nut and shellfish free.
Food Trucks - Thursday
Dinner isn’t provided on Thursday night, but we will have a number of food trucks onsite to purchase from during the Registration and Festival time.
Coffee & Snacks
Our coffee van and canteen will be onsite throughout the conference.
BYO Meals Option
Those with particularly sensitive dietary needs or who would feel more comfortable providing their own food can choose the ‘No Meals’ option during registration.
Those who choose this option will receive a voucher that can be used at the IY store during the conference or our online store during September-October. Full time delegates (adult/high) will receive a $50 voucher. Part-time delegates (eg day/weekend) will receive a voucher appropriate to their registration.
NB. The ‘no meals’ option does not apply to Ignite Kids, as they already have a simpler menu. Please contact us if your child has particularly sensitive needs, and if a parent will be present at the conference to provide any required meals.
Nut Free Venue
Please note that it is a nut-free venue. If you are bringing meals or snacks onsite, please ensure they do not contain nuts.
Transport
Parking
All delegates are recommended to use the secure parking at the Hancock Street carpark. Please note Hancock Street is located directly behind the Queensland Children’s Hospital off Stanley Street, there is no access from Stephens Road. See map or view ERPAC information.
Collect a pass from Ignite HQ on the day to get the flat rate Ignite Conference deal of $15/day (single entry). When arriving for the first time, take the St Laurence’s College lift to Level 6, to come straight to Ignite HQ. On subsequent days, you can also take the ERPAC lift from Level 3 and 4 of the carpark. Please note that the car park is automated, so you need to pay at one of the pay stations before exiting.
Limited short term drop off/pick up is available onsite at St Laurence’s College (82 Stephens Road) and on adjacent streets. Head up the stairs to Ignite HQ. Please contact us to discuss coach parking if required.
Please note that street parking is not suited to delegates attending Ignite Conference. St Laurence’s College is located within Brisbane Central Traffic area, and so a 2 hour limit applies to all street parking between 7am-6pm weekdays, and between 7am-midday on Saturdays, unless signed otherwise.
Public Transport
Mater Hill bus station is approx 800 metres from St Laurence’s College.
Park Road train station is approx 1100 metres from St Laurence’s College.
